Kourosh Afrashteh

Kourosh Afrashteh is the founder of Project Prometheus, a Bay Area group fostering human genetic engineering. He is working to develop a commercial venture to research “designer babies”.

His professional background includes an undergraduate degree in Molecular Genetics and a brief 2 year stint in a PhD program in Neuroscience, both from the University of Toronto. He is licensed Dentist in Ontario, and owns a chain of Dental Clinics.
