For centuries now, since early reniassance times, a battle has waged between the would be moral creatures and unstopable progressives. Prior to most great advancements a group of haters and doubters get together and tell everyone else not to make to next step. Galilieo, Columbus and the Wright brothers were all told their vision couldn’t be realized. If history teaches us anything it teaches us that while the doubters are doubting someone else is accomplishing thier dream. Christian thinkers say these advances in biotechnology take away from the dignity of humanity. Some like to pull out the-“made in his image”- card. Be that as it may, if God made us in his image wouldn’t he want us to be more like him. Preachers will guide thier churches to imitate Christ. Does this only cover the spiritual realm or does that mean we should figure out how to bring dead folks back from the dead. It seems there may be hidden meanings in the waiting for God to show up again.
