somehow, this post strikes me as atypically uncritical and to some extent, even aloof. in one breath, the very concept of anonymity is seemingly lamented as an endangered species; in the next, it's apparently cast as an anachronism. maybe i'm missing something, but methinks george is possibly indulging in a rare moment of, "don't make me think too hard about this one, i've made my choice and now i have to live with it."

Fantastic article, very well said. Facebook has definitely changed the face of the earth - but is it necessarily in a good way? I need to pass this article on to a few friends (and my wife!). grin
