Eight tips to dramatically improve your chances of living forever

Sentient Developments

There is no such thing as a natural death. Nothing that happens to Man is ever natural, since his presence calls the whole world into question. All men must die, but for every man his death is an accident. And even if he knows it and consents to it, an unjustifiable violation.—J.R.R. Tolkien

Very informative & helpful article.

I suggest though, after reading several pertinent articles at www.cholesterolscore.com that your tip #4 be augmented.

Besides the well-known problems most of us know about cholesterol, solutions re: C-reactive protein (CRP) have, recently, become more newsworthy since the Vytorin disclosures.

Check & see whether you don't agree.

Maybe I'm crazy for thinking this way, but this seems like a really bad idea, both for ourselves and for future generations. Think about it: with the overpopulation issue we have as it is, people living indefinitely will only exacerbate the whole problem. So what will you do, start killing the younger generations to make room for those selfish enough to want to live outside of their natural capacity? Another thing: with how messed up the world is today, what with wars, overpopulation, pollution, etc, just think of what it will be like in another 100 years or so. Do you really want to be around to see the world go even further down the drain than it already is? I'll take the route suggested by the age-old (and many times proven) saying: "Quit while you're ahead."

Great article, I'm linking to it and featuring it prominently in my blog.

Similar to Aidan but slightly different, one cannot discount that which awaits us by moving to the next dimension. Our souls and essence may continue on in some amazing way. Space travel -- no problem!

Along this line -- what might happen to our souls, that spiritual/meta-physical essence that for so long has been unfettered from a flesh & blood body, if suddenly we were awakened from a cryogenic "sleep"? Does it suddenly get sucked back into our bodies or will the resuscitated flesh be a zombie?

Maybe science will have the answer to this in the not too distant future.
