I saw a video on Ted Talks that suggested that we need to change the focus of education from giving out information to teaching how to process information. The idea is that kids have computers and access to whatever information they want. What they need to learn is how to use that information usefully.

Different learning styles are required learning to teach at the adult level, but we still train our teachers to use only one, maybe two ways of teaching for our children. Computers could help with this problem as well.
