Peter Diamandis talks about “Robots Will Steal Your Job, But That’s OK”

It must be me? But I never find what Peter Diamandis says to be convincing. Sure enough, Star Trek styled techno-utopian ideals are the goal and preferable to dystopian mass unemployment, social suffering and division, yet unless there is clear thinking and strategy towards achieving these goals, then they will remain only idle dreams.

I would like to hear more on how futurists would attempt to make these dreams a reality, else I would not take them seriously.

Cygnus, it is you, in a way. You are mistaking Diamandis and other like him for government officials, university professors or head engineers in a production plant, when in fact they are visionaries. They are not trying to get your approval for some grandiose plan - they are either out there doing it (as in Dimanadis' case) or are simply observing the technological trends and making conclusions about them.
It's easy to criticize someone for not divulging a complex strategy in a 3 minute answer. Good job, though!
