Human Cloning Ban and Stem Cell Research Protection Act of 2007

The Dems move to ban human reproductive cloning, while protecting embryonic stem cell cloning. Unnecessary legislation in my opinion. The FDA has sufficient powers to regulate human cloning until such time it is safe and effective for human use. What do you think?
