Congratulations to Goertzel and de Grey for Participation in Singularity University

IEET fellows Ben Goertzel and Aubrey de Grey have been tapped to be faculty of the new Singularity University.

The Singularity University will consist of an annual nine week curriculum (starting June 27-Aug 29, 2009), for graduate and postgraduate students, including future studies, nano-, bio- and info-technologies, and the policy, law and ethics of emerging technologies. There will also be three day and nine day seminars. Singularity University will be based on the NASA Ames campus in Silicon Valley, and the will cost of the nine week program will be about $26,000. Ray Kurzweil will serve as Chancellor.
