UK’s science advisory body backs human-animal hybrid research

Royal Society

The creation of human-animal ‘cybrids’ for medical research purposes should be permitted according to the Royal Society, who today reaffirmed its support for this area of stem cell research.  The Society was responding to the House of Commons’ Science and Technology Committee inquiry on the regulation of human-animal hybrid research. Read the Society’s submission to the select committee.
