Cute; makes a guy want to purchase 'The Best Of The Beach Boys'

I don't want to "derail", as it is rightly deemed, the expansive conversation at 'Five Top Reasons Transhumanism Can Eliminate Suffering', so want to address this msg. to Pete here at this topic:
when I mention Pro- 'Life' and anti-gay, they are shorthand for the issues we are confronted on by our opponents; Pro- 'Life' and anti-gay are two issues of lesser importance, used for their sensationalistic ability to sell papers, mags and airtime.. politically they are wedge issues; any number of topics discussed at IEET are of more importance than Pro- 'Life' and anti-gay.
Dialoguing (or more accurately, mutual-monologuing) with the public would be acceptable if the public were not so focused on 1776; we want to interest the public in transhumanism when Ben Franklin's bifocals, Thomas Jefferson's dumbwaiter is of more importance to them? when they still don't know how their TVs work?
Well, I'll attempt to talk to them, even if merely to exercise jaw muscles. You know very well we will be discussing much the same issues five years from now.
