John Niman is an Affiliate Scholar, and a J.D. Candidate at the William S. Boyd School of Law at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas and blogs at and He shares his enthusiasm for transhumanism and technology with the law school through presentations as part of the William S. Boyd Health Law Society.

This video was taken at the Salt Lake City Library in April of 2013. In this video John talks about the United State’s first amendment and the importance of it to religious based organizations. He claims that certain religious organizations, such as the Mormon Transhumanist Association can have a major impact on advancing technology.
