Phil Torres

Phil Torres is an author, blogger at the Future of Life Institute, Affiliate Scholar at the Institute for Ethics and Emerging Technologies, founder of the X-Risks Institute, and freelance writer whose work focuses on emerging technologies, existential risks, and apocalyptic terrorism. He’s been published in Skeptic, Free Inquiry, The Humanist, the Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists, Common Dreams, Humanity+, and Salon, among others.
