Empathy, Neurochemistry, and the Dramatic Arc: Paul Zak at the Future of StoryTelling 2012

Wait a second, the first video contains a somebody talking, I assume that the second video also contains somebody talking, or does it just have that image which was shown for the said 100 seconds?? Was there an assumption that the human voice holds no effect on the reaction of the participants?
