A June 15 CNN article entitled “Post-apocalytpic TV is everywhere” interviewed IEET Fellow Jamais Cascio, as an “ethical futurist.”

Cascio remarked that numerous aspects of “The Walking Dead” - the post-apocalyptic drama television series - are presently being replicated. He stated:

“The rule of TV production is to figure out what aspect of a surprisingly success show made it a winner. We’re seeing other comic book-based stories in development, other supernatural stories and other post-apocalypse stories.”
