Dr. Patrick Lin, a Fellow of the IEET and an assistant professor of philosophy at California Polytechnic State University, was a featured guest on a recent edition of the NPR program “Talk of the Nation,” discussing the ethics of robot warfare.

Lin, who directs Cal Poly’s Ethics and Emerging Sciences Group, was the first guest on the 30-minute public radio program that addressed this question: “Robotics, artificial intelligence, ethics and the future of combat “” what happens when you remove humans from the battlefield?”
