IEET Chairman of the Board George Dvorsky is joining io9.com as a full-time Contributing Editor, beginning June 4.  He will be posting articles at the popular science website on a variety of topics, on a daily basis.

Dvorsky will maintain his popular Sentient Developments blog, and IEET will continue to post his articles, linking to both his io9 essays and his blog posts.

Dvorsky will also retain his IEET Board spot, and his responsibilities as the director for the Rights of the Non-Human Persons program.

IEET congratulates George on his new position.
