Gradually in the next few weeks, there’s going to be a shift in staffing at IEET. Hank Pellissier - the present Managing Director - is handing over those duties to long-time IEET contributor Kris Notaro.

Pellissier will focus on compiling and funding the e-book anthology for the African Futures Project.

Additionally, he’s developing his new blog, Transhumanity.net, which will share content and contributors with IEET.

Kris Notaro is ideally-suited to be the next Managing Director. He’s starting a philosophy graduate program and he lives in Connecticut, where he can meet regularly with Executive Director James Hughes. Notaro’s initial focus will be on building IEET’s nonhuman personhood conference in April at Yale.
 
We are confident that the transition will be smooth and that the new administrative lineup will perform with dizzying efficiency.
