Three out of four IEET readers expressing an opinion on a recently completed poll said humans should not attempt to enhance or uplift other species of animals.
Only about one in five agreed that uplifting animals is a good idea.

- “The Ethics of Animal Enhancement” by George Dvorsky
- “Animal Enhancement as a Tool of Liberation” by Kyle Munkittrick
