The steamer was heading for a Taiwanese island, where she lived a quiet, mundane existence. But many people intended to get on this ship, and the number of seats was limited. In order to get on board themselves, passengers began to fight with each other, pushing out anyone who gets in the way. As a result, the liner had to leave the coast overcrowded. And now, once on the road, it seemed to the passengers that the worst was already over. There will be no more deafening shots and explosions, and the battle for the right to be saved is also in the past. They didn't know that the worst was ahead of them. On the night of January 27, at full speed, the Taiping crashes into the Jin Yuan cargo ship, causing people trapped on both ships to face death. Within an hour, the sea element submerged the ships and their passengers to the bottom. About 1,500 people were unable to reach the island, remaining buried in the cold waters of the ocean.
