In the first place we are the IEET. The IEEE is the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers.
In the second place there is nothing in the podcast, if you listen to it, which suggests that there are souls. To the contrary.
In the third place, Radiolab is so awesome I would recommend their work even if they did have someone on talking about souls. In this case they have some excerpts from David Eagleman's Sum: Forty Tales from the Afterlives, which is forty fantasy meditations on possible afterlives, none of which he offers as a reality. In fact, in the seventh part of this episode, however, Dr. Eagleman outs himself as a transhumanist by revealing that he is looking forward to uploading.
