Studies show that dolphins are brighter than chimpanzees. They have distinct personalities, exhibit self-recognition, understand symbol-based language, and think about the future.

Could you also, perhaps, include a link on this essay to an essay that ran previously about a dolphin raised in captivity who, when released back into the wild, taught other dolphins how to "dance" on the water?
