US millionaires ask Congress to “raise our taxes”

A group of 200 USA wealthy individuals (the “Patriotic Millionaires”) want their taxes raised, but Congress is unwilling.

In Canada it is possible to make a gift to the nation. Why not just calculate what they think they should be paying in taxes and give it to groups that will do some good with the money?
