Together with one of the most successful digital entrepreneurs in Germany, Michael Greve, and the president of the German anti-aging society, Prof. Bernd Kleine-Gunk (https://www.gsaam.de/kontakt/ ), IEET Fellow Stefan Lorenz Sorgner was invited to Monte Carlo to give a talk in the panel “Past, Present & Future of Anti-Aging Medicine: The German vision” at the 19th Aesthetic & Anti-Aging Medicine World Congress” which had about 10000 in presence participants. Nowadays, Michael Greve is the CEO of Forever Healthy with which he tackles the issue of undoing aging.

Enhancing the human health span is also a central goal of transhumanists endeavours. At the world congress, Prof. Sorgner explained the wider philosophical embeddedness of this issue within transhumanism, whereby he highlights that we have always been cyborgs, so that by using the latest digital and gene technologies to promote the likelihood of us living good lives is in tune with what we have always been doing. He also explained the relevance of an increased health span in an interview for a Brazilian philosophy journal that published his reflections both in English as well as in Portuguese. LINK

The relevance of using digital data for improving health and the quality of life were stated clearly in an essayistic piece by Prof. Sorgner which recently came out in Italian. LINK

Prof. Sorgner presented additional reflections at the Virtual Conference on “BIG DATA, A.I. AND HEALTHY LONGEVITY (LINK)” which took place on the 9th September 2021.

Another interview with him, in which Prof. Sorgner highlights central insights of his version of transhumanism, which he explained in detail in his most recent monograph “On Transhumanism”, came out in the “Immortalists Magazine”. LINK
